(15 mar 07) I am seeing the molecules correctly in Firefox 1.5 Windows. In IE7 there are several (javascript) errors, but I cannot track them down precisely:

  • runtime error on line 68: object expected
  • runtime error on line 70: object expected
  • runtime error on line 73: object expected
  • runtime error on line 78: object expected
  • runtime error on line 80: object expected
  • runtime error on line 83: object expected

Opera 9.10 also fails, but the error report is more explicit:

JavaScript - http://wiki.jmol.org:81/index.php/User:K.murphy Inline script thread Error: name: ReferenceError message: Statement on line 1: Reference to undefined variable: jmolCheckBrowser

JavaScript - http://wiki.jmol.org:81/index.php/User:K.murphy Inline script thread Error: name: ReferenceError message: Statement on line 2: Reference to undefined variable: jmolButton

It looks like Jmol.js is not being properly loaded.

A bit later:

Firefox shows this source code:

[snip] <script language='Javascript' type='text/javascript' src='/extensions/Jmol/Jmol.js'></script> <script language='Javascript' type='text/javascript' src='/extensions/Jmol/JmolMediaWiki.js'></script> <script language='Javascript' type='text/javascript'>jmolInitialize('/extensions/Jmol', false);</script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/skins/common/ajax.js"></script> (etc.)

but IE and Opera show this source code:

[snip] <script type="text/javascript" src="/skins/common/ajax.js"></script>

So, for some reason Jmol.js is NOT being included for these browsers.
