A collection of notes about possible support for Jmol under Android:
- Latest Jmol prerelease has been prepared (but not yet tested; reports are welcome) to be able to run under Android. Since Android doesn't include the Swing Java class, the pop-up menu, the console and the
prompt
command used for asking for saving files from the signed applet will not work. But other functionality may work.
- AlwaysOnPC ($20) gives you over 40 apps you can use from your Android device. For example, browse with Google Chrome or Firefox with Java support.
- Jmol feature request #3128416 with some discussion.
