Some notes for future integration into the page
JSmol files (in development phase) will run fine from Firefox on your hard drive accessed as file://.... but Chrome and MSIE require that you access files via the web.
Chrome may be started with the following options, allowing local files access:
--allow-file-access-from-files --disable-web-security
